Live Webcam – El Prat Beach, Barcelona, Spain
Welcome to El Prat Beach, a unique destination for leisure, environmental education, and outdoor activities within the metropolitan area of Barcelona. This beach stretches for 5.5 km, from the mouth of the Llobregat River to the Remolar Lagoon. Along the way, it passes through natural areas such as the Can Camins pine forest and the protected zones of Remolar and Roberta — all part of the Natura 2000 network.
Much of the coastline is environmentally protected, particularly the beaches of Remolar, Roberta, and Ricarda – Ca l’Arana, recognized for their high ecological value.
Visitors can enjoy a well-equipped coastline with facilities such as lifeguards, the Municipal Sailing Centre, local police presence, and more. A set of regulated guidelines ensures peaceful coexistence and a pleasant beach experience for all.
In 2021, a court ruling required the reorganization of local parking. Residents with a valid permit have access to two exclusive parking areas near the Municipal Sailing Centre and CRAM. Visitors must use the green parking zones. On weekends, which tend to be busier, it's recommended to park near the beach entrance and take advantage of the free shuttle service to reach different areas along the coast.
